Anak Benoa Sailing Trimaran

Anak Benoa is a private sailing trimaran offering island-hopping experiences around the Secret Gilis and the southwest coast of Lombok. Departing from Marina Del Ray on Gili Gede, the 26-foot vessel provides a flexible way to explore small islands, hidden bays and snorkelling spots around Sekotong Bay.

Built in Bali and completed in 2025, Anak Benoa combines the stability of a triple-hull design with the relaxed atmosphere of a private island cruise. With space for up to six day guests, the boat is suited to couples, families and small groups looking to create their own itinerary or leave the route to the captain and crew.

A modern 26-foot Sailing Trimaran

Anak Benoa is a 26-foot, or approximately 8.5-metre, trimaran with an eight-metre beam. Its three-hull design provides stability while cruising, including in less calm conditions.

The boat has an open cockpit and side nets where guests can stretch out, relax and enjoy the sea views while travelling between islands. There is one cabin, an onboard toilet and an outdoor shower.

The vessel is crewed by two people and has a maximum day capacity of six guests. Anak Benoa can sail when conditions allow and is also equipped with two 20 HP Suzuki engines to maintain reliable cruising between destinations. Its maximum speed is listed at eight knots.

Snorkelling and island-hopping experiences

The Secret Gilis of southwest Lombok offer opportunities to explore quieter islands and coastal waters around Sekotong Bay. A private charter aboard Anak Benoa can be adapted to different interests, including swimming, snorkelling, fishing and beach stops.

Snorkelling equipment is included, allowing guests to explore reefs and marine life during selected stops. Dry bags, refreshments and snacks are also provided onboard.

Gili Asahan is included as a featured stop on the boat’s current day experience, with a lunch stop available on the island. Depending on the chosen itinerary, a cruise can also include time to explore other islands, quiet coves and coastal locations around the Secret Gilis.

Charter options and sunset sailing

Anak Benoa offers several private charter formats, allowing guests to choose the length and style of their time on the water.

A five-hour day charter is currently available from Rp 3,450,000 for one to three guests. A two-hour sunset cruise starts from Rp 2,550,000 for one to three guests, while the nine-hour Full Day Explorer Sail starts from Rp 7,500,000 for one to three guests. Additional guests are charged according to the current charter rates, up to a maximum of six day guests.

The sunset cruise offers a shorter option for guests who want to experience the southwest Lombok coastline in the early evening. Drinks and snacks are available onboard, while an optional alcohol package can be added to selected charters. Current prices and inclusions should be confirmed when booking.

Fishing and surf expeditions

In addition to island-hopping and snorkelling, Anak Benoa can be chartered for other activities along the Lombok coastline.

Fishing trips are available as an optional charter experience, offering the opportunity to spend time on the water beyond a traditional island-hopping route. The vessel can also be used for surf expeditions towards the Desert Point surf break.

The flexible charter format allows groups to shape their day around their preferred activities, whether that means spending more time swimming and snorkelling, visiting islands or focusing on a particular destination.

Departing from Gili Gede in Southwest Lombok

Anak Benoa departs from Marina Del Ray on Gili Gede, located in Sekotong on the southwest coast of Lombok. The marina serves as a base for exploring the surrounding islands and coastal waters, including the Secret Gilis.

South Gili pick-up locations may also be available on request, depending on the charter arrangements.
