Laga Living

Laga Living is a limited collection of nine private pool villas being developed on Kuta Beach in South Lombok. Forming part of the wider Laga destination, the residences combine tropical architecture, contemporary comfort and a beachfront lifestyle centred around sport, wellness, hospitality and the ocean.

The collection comprises five Aruna two-bedroom villas and four Muara one-bedroom villas, creating an intentionally small residential community within the wider Laga development.

A limited beachfront collection

Set within Laga’s approximately 12,000-square-metre beachfront site, the residences occupy a distinctive position between the ocean and river. Rather than functioning as a separate villa complex, Laga Living has been integrated into the wider masterplan, allowing residents to enjoy the privacy of their own homes while remaining connected to the destination’s facilities and community.

Each villa will have its own private pool and landscaped outdoor spaces. The architecture incorporates natural materials, shaded areas, tropical planting and open-plan layouts designed to create a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living.

With only nine residences, Laga Living is designed as a relatively intimate collection within the larger destination.

Aruna: Spacious two-bedroom villas

The five Aruna villas offer spacious two-bedroom private pool residences designed for families, couples and owners looking for additional space.

Each villa spans more than 300 square metres and is planned as a complete tropical home, with living spaces flowing naturally towards the bedrooms, private pool and outdoor areas.

The two-bedroom configuration provides flexibility for longer stays, family holidays or time shared with friends, while the private outdoor areas offer space to relax within the villa itself.

Muara: Life at the water’s edge

The four Muara villas are positioned closest to the beachfront and offer a more intimate one-bedroom layout.

Designed primarily for individuals and couples, each Muara residence combines private pool living with landscaped outdoor space. Their position at the front of the collection places them closest to Kuta Beach and the ocean.

The name Muara, referring to the meeting point between a river and the sea, reflects the distinctive landscape surrounding the Laga development.

Connected to the Laga experience

One of the defining aspects of Laga Living is its connection to the wider Laga destination. At its centre will be Laga Padel Club, a dedicated padel destination currently planned with six international-standard courts and a championship centre court.

The wider Laga concept also incorporates wellness and recovery spaces, fitness facilities, swimming pools, restaurants, a sunset bar and social spaces alongside direct beach access.

The combination means residents can move easily between private villa life and the facilities of the wider destination — from playing padel and spending time by the pool to using the sauna or ice baths, dining and enjoying the beachfront.

Sport, wellness and island living

Padel forms a central part of the Laga concept, but the lifestyle extends beyond the courts. The development is designed to bring together sport, wellness, food, hospitality and community in a coastal setting.

The current Laga plans include wellness and recovery facilities featuring ice baths and saunas, Pilates, infinity pools and dining inspired by wood-fired cooking and Mediterranean flavours.

For residents, this creates an environment where an active day can naturally transition into recovery, dining and time by the ocean.

Designed for South Lombok

Laga Living has been conceived with a strong connection to its Kuta Beach setting. Natural materials, tropical planting, shaded spaces and indoor-outdoor transitions are intended to help the villas sit naturally within the surrounding landscape.

The wider development has also involved infrastructure work to reinforce the riverbank, stabilise the site and address coastal conditions before the buildings take shape.

Laga Living represents the residential element of the wider Laga vision: a limited collection of private homes within a destination built around padel, wellness, hospitality and community.
