Rascals Wellness is a dedicated wellness and massage destination located at the entrance of Rascals Hotel in Kuta, Lombok. Designed for both hotel guests and outside visitors, the wellness centre and spa provide a peaceful space for relaxation, recovery and self-care without requiring non-hotel guests to enter the main hotel grounds.

The wellness centre and spa are housed in the same building but operate as separate spaces. Guests can combine a wellness session with a massage and yoga class, making it possible to create a full day focused on relaxation and wellbeing.

Sauna, ice baths and magnesium pool

The wellness centre is centred around three main facilities: a magnesium pool, two ice baths and a sauna. The spacious indoor environment is designed to create a quiet and private atmosphere, with calming music and a layout that separates visitors from the outside activity of Kuta.

Wellness sessions are limited to a maximum of eight people at one time and last for 1.5 hours. A 30-minute cleaning period follows each session. Advance booking is required, and walk-ins are not accepted without a reservation.

The facility includes two ice baths with different temperatures, allowing guests to choose between a colder or slightly less intense cold-water experience. The sauna is large enough to accommodate up to 10 people.

Swimwear must be worn throughout the wellness centre, as the sauna is not a naturist sauna.

Guests are provided with towels and have access to lockers for their belongings. Showers are also available, making it easy to alternate between the sauna, ice baths and magnesium pool.

A relaxing wellness experience

A typical wellness session can be enjoyed at an individual pace. Guests can spend time in the sauna before cooling down in one of the ice baths, followed by additional sauna sessions and time relaxing in the magnesium pool.

Timers are available to help guests manage their sauna sessions. Visitors can also order refreshments, including fresh coconut drinks, to enjoy towards the end of their session.

The Rascals Spa focuses exclusively on massage treatments. Rather than offering a large menu of beauty and cosmetic treatments, the spa concentrates on providing dedicated massage experiences with trained therapists.

The spa has three individual massage rooms and one double treatment room, making it suitable for both solo visitors and couples.

Guests can choose their preferred massage and select from several massage oils. Before the treatment begins, guests complete a consultation form covering allergies and areas of the body that may require additional attention.

The treatment experience also includes a foot washing and scrub ritual before the massage begins.

Rascals signature massage

The Rascals Signature Massage is one of the spa’s featured treatments. Guests can select the massage oil they prefer and communicate their preferred pressure with the therapist.

The massage is designed as a full-body experience, covering areas including the back, shoulders, legs, arms, head and face. Therapists check that the pressure is comfortable and adjust the experience according to the guest’s preferences.

A 60-minute massage is available from IDR 220,000, offering an accessible option for visitors looking for a professional massage in Kuta.

After the treatment, guests can relax with a cup of ginger tea before leaving the spa.

Yoga and a full wellness day

Rascals Wellness also offers yoga classes, allowing visitors to combine movement with recovery and relaxation.

A day at Rascals can include a yoga class, followed by a 1.5-hour wellness session using the sauna, ice baths and magnesium pool, before finishing with a massage at the spa.
